Teaching can be rough. Yes, sometimes even Game of Thrones rough.
When you catch your students doing something bad.
When someone talks to you before you’ve had your coffee.
When a student wants extra credit on an assignment they handed in late.
After the first week back at school.
When every student has a question.
When you find out there’s indoor recess, AGAIN.
When you get home after an especially long day at work.
When testing season starts.
When getting your students to walk together in a straight line feels like commanding an army.
What you want to say to everyone who supports more testing.
When you’re trying to give your students a lesson about life.
